This Sumatra Mutu Batak comes from the Lintong region of Sumatra. This area is home to the hundreds of small farmers that produce this coffee. The farmer will grow, harvest and de-pulp the coffee on their farm before delivering the coffee to a producer to finish drying and de-hulling. The coffee is finally moved to warehouses in Medan for grading, hand sorting and bagging for export.
